The Arab press here today reveals that a memorandum outlining the Arab viewpoint with regard to Palestine has been submitted to Marshal Stalin by anti-Zionist groups in Lebanon. The memorandum asks the Russian Premier to use his influence in favor of a solution of the Palestine problem in accordance with Arab demands.
At the same time, it is reported that four Arab political societies, meeting in Cairo, cabled to President Roosevelt urging him to withdraw his pre-election statement pledging support of the establishment of a Jewish Commonwealth in Palestine.
