The Zionist and the Hadassah organizations of Canada raised the sum of $1,035,000 during 1944, it was announced today by Rabbi Jesse Schwartz, executive director of the Zionist Organization of Canada. This sum includes $560,000 for the United Palestine Appeal, $244,695 for the Youth Aliyah and $150,000 for the Jewish National Fund.
