Brazilian Government Issues Decree Iegalizing Zionism, Banned for Seven Years

Zionism will be reestablished hereafter in Brazil, where it was banned seven years ago, as a result of a government decree issued today by chief of the National Police, Joao Alberto. The Zionist Federation here was dissolved on Aug. 4, 1938 as a foreign agency, and severe limitations were placed on various phases of Jewish social and cultural life.
