A decree providing for the restitution of furniture, clothes, books, jewels and other movable property confiscated or stolen from Jews and others during the German occupation of France, is published today in the official gazette.
Indentified property must be claimed by the owners before a justice of the peace within one year after the end of the war. Property, the owners of which cannot be identified, is to be given to specified national welfare organizations for distribution among needy persons whose property was destroyed during the occupation.
