Both the Hebrew and Arab press comment today on the Morgan case, which has aroused great interest in Palestine.
Haaretz describes as “nonsensical” Morgan’s statement in which he expressed belief in the existence of an organized plan for an exodus of Jews from Europe. “It embodies the spirit we knew at the time of the first exodus from Egypt,” the paper says.
The Arab daily, Palestine, writes, “Morgan, as a Briton and a military man, is one of the least likely to make false propaganda. His disclosure fell like a thunderbolt in Zionist circles and exposed Zionists before the world.”
