A cable received today from the Jewish deportees in Eritrea, two of whom were killed during a disturbance in their detention camp on Jan. 17, charges that the guards opened fire in cold blood, without provocation on the part of the prisoners.

The message, which was addressed, to the Jewish Journalists Association, pleaded with the press to take all possible action to secure their return to Palestine. The cable, which was transmitted through the facilities of the Palestine Government, had been sent on Jan. 18.
