A tour of the principal Jewish communities of Bulgaria, just completed by a Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent, reveals the same picture everywhere: mass unemployment due to loss of businesses during the fascist regime.

The Jewish population is looking to American Jews for aid. They especially need machines, tools and funds to provide small loans as a first step towards economic rehabilitation.
