Brazilians Condemn Assaults on Jewish Community of Palestine by British Forces

The attacks upon the Jewish community of Palestine by British armed forces were condemned here at a mass meeting called by leaders of the Jewish community. Jacob Schneider, president of the Brazilian Zionist Organization, called for fulfillment of the pledges contained in the Balfour Declaration.

A Brazilian Zionist Emergency Council was created in order to achieve unity among all Zionist forces. Many Brazilian Christians have offered their support to the Council’s protest against British action in Palestine, it was announced.
