A total of 2,664 Jewish immigrants entered the United States during June, the HIAS announced today.

Approximately 1,200 of the immigrants were refugees from the U.S. zone of Germany who entered under President Truman’s directive, while the remainder arrived from Sweden, France and Portugal. Half of the arrivals were serviced by the HIAS, the announcement said.
