A Jewish plot of anti-British terrorism is charged today by a section of the London press, which links Thursday’s bombing of the British embassy in Rome to a “world-wide Jewish underground.” A warning against further possible action by Jewish terrorists has been sent to other British embassies, the papers said.
The reports also alleged that in accordance with a decision taken at the recent Jewish Agency conference in Paris, envoys are now en route to Britain and other parts of Europe to direct the work of “Jewish guerrilla bands.” Scotland Yard, however, denied yesterday that it has any information “that Jews are out to cause trouble in this country.”
