The New York Daily News, continuing its fight for a license to operate a FM radio station, yesterday challenged the right of the American Jewish Congress to oppose the granting of the license.
The Daily News charged at a Federal Communications Commission hearing that acceptance of the Congress brief containing an analysis of the news and editorial columns of the Daily News for the past eight years, pointing out many instances of anti-Jewish and anti-Negro bias, would violate the freedom of the press.
