The section of the Hungarian peace treaty draft which provides for the confiscation of the property of Hungarian nationals abroad to satisfy the claims of Allied nationals against Hungary is causing great concern to certain Jewish circles here.
Spokesmen for Jews who had interests abroad before the war point out that there is no provision in the treaty exempting from the confiscation clause the property of Hungarian Jews who themselves were victims of the pro-Nazi Hungarian government.
