Rabbi William F. Rosenblum of Temple Israel, in New York, has been elected president of the Synagogue Council of America, representing rabbinic and lay groups of Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Jewry. He succeeds the late Dr. Isaac Landman who died Sept. 3, shortly after his induction to office.
