More than one hundred delegates representing Jewish all-day schools throughout the United States met today in Cleveland for the opening session of a scheduled three-day conference on education.

The Cleveland conference which is the first national convention of all day schools was called by Torah Umesorah, the national society for Torah schools, in order to chart plans for the further growth of Jewish religious education in this country, evaluate educational programs of existing schools and to make provisions for their elaboration.
