Anti-Zionist leaflets signed by the “Jewish Anti-Zionist League,” were distributed today among Egyptian Jews.
The leaflets warn the Jews to “beware of Zionist propaganda which endeavors to send Jews to Palestine where they will live under an oppressive and pogromist regime.” The League announced that it has cabled the United Nations urging the creation of an independent Palestine.
The League is reputed to be a Communist organization. Several of its members were recently arrested for “Communist activities.”
