Polish Government Gives Ort Six Farms for Jewish Agricultural Settlements

The Polish Government has given the ORT Committee of Wroclaw (Breslau) six more farms on which will be organized Jewish agricultureal settlements, an official of the Polish ORT temporarily in London disclosed. The ORT is sending two tractors to the farms.

The organization also received a 50-acre farm near Bielawa where it will set up a model agricultural school for Jewish farmers. At Lejnica the organization has established a school which offers instruction in sewing, tractor and autmobile driving and mechanics.

A national conference of ORT teachers and educational advisors opened in Wroclaw this week-end. At the conference an exhibition will be held of products made by students in ORT schools during the past two years.
