Seven hundred Jewish refugees stranded here for many years, today left aboard the UNRRA-chartered Marine Lynx to return to their former homes in Germany and Austria.
On the same vessel were some 60 refugees who are emigrating to England, Palestine, Syria, Switzerland and Ecuador, with the assistance of the Joint Distribution Committee.
