The cabinet of the German state of Hesse, in the American zone, has voted unanimously to donate the sum of $2,500 for the relief of the Exodus refugees, it was revealed here today.
The action followed an appeal by the Hesse newspaper Wiesbadener Kurier >>uring Germans to contribute to a fund for the relief of the Jews and offering to mutch all contributions. The Kurier has announced that thus far it has received pledges amounting to $3,400 from its readers.
