The budget advisory board of the American Fund for Palestinian Institutions today approved a 1948 budget of $1,200,000 at the concluding session of a three-day meeting here. Francis Stern, of Hartford, Conn., and ##abbi Isidore Breslau were named co-chairmen of the board.
The meeting also decided to add the Chel Theatre and the Hebrew Secondary school in Jerusalem to the list of 80-odd institutions supported by the Fund, of which ##ward A. Horman is president. It was announced last night that $325,000 of the ##’s 1947 goal of $1,065,000 has already been raised, with most of the Fund’s current fund-raising drive still ahead.
