The diplomatic representatives of Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon today called on President Vincent Auriol and asked him to instruct the French delegation at Flushing Meadow to oppose partition. However, well informed quarters are inclined to believe that the Quai D’Orsay will tell its delegation to vote for partition.
