U.S. Iran Propose Strong Measures to Implement Human Rights Recommendations

Representatives of the World Jewish Congress, speaking yesterday at a meeting of the sub-committee of the U.N. Human Rights Commission, which is currently taking place here, expressed support of an American-Iranian proposal for adoption of strong safeguards providing for the implementation of all recommendations on human rights.

Meanwhile, Agudas Israel observers have expressed satisfaction with an American Federation of Labor memorandum urging the sub-committee to adopt a resolution ##rateeing all workers the right to observe their own Sabbath without interference from their employers.
