Former Governor Herbert H. Lehman today told a luncheon meeting of the National Conference of Christians and Jews that “there is nothing more important than to bring about general and sincere acceptance of the concept of the brotherhood of man and the all-embracing fatherhood of God.”

Alluding to the organization’s plans for establishing a network of agencies in various European countries, Governor Lehman declared: “The scope of this work is unlimited and I am confident that, given sufficient time and resources, it will contribute much to the peace and security of the world.”
