French Ministers Discuss Palestine Situation; Report Compliance with Mediator’s Request

The Council of Ministers today discussed the Palestine situation with Foreign Minister Georges Bidault. A government spokesman said after the meeting that the French Government has placed at the disposal of U.N. Palestine mediator Count Folke Bernadotte the “material means” requested from France for supervising the truce agreement. Officers of one warship have already left for Israel, be revealed.
