A resolution urging all religious Jewish groups throughout the world — from Agudas Israel to Mizrachi — to create a world bloc was adopted here at the first annual convention of the Poale Agudas Israel, the laborite section of the Agudah organization.

The convention, which was addressed by Benjamin Mintz, member of the Provisional Government of Israel and president of the World Poale Agudas Israel movement, also adopted a resolution demanding that Jerusalem be proclaimed the capital of Israel and that the Jewish state be developed along religious traditions.
