The sun of $50,000, allocated by the Joint Distribution Committee as aid for Jewish families here whose property was destroyed during the political riots last April, was distributed this week in the form of credits to be repaid within three years. This is the first time that a Jewish community in Latin America was in need of J.D.C. aid.
