1,000 Jewish Immigrants Arrive in Canada; Majority of Them Are from Camps in Germany

More than 1,000 Jewish immigrants, the majority of them former inmates of DP camps in Germany, arrived in Canada during the past week. They include groups of tailors and furriers who have been permitted entry into Canada under industrial quotas.
