Stanley Myers, President of Cjfwf, Gets Annual Fraternity Award for Service to Jewry

Stanley C. Myers, president of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, has been awarded the 1949 National Service Award of Phi Epsilon Pi Fraternity, it was reported here.

Mr. Myers was selected as this year’s recipient of the award for having made the “finest contribution to the essential Jewish life of America.” The citation presented to Mr. Myers stressed his “unselfish and devoted service to the cause of unity and understanding among American Jewry at a time of crisis in the efforts to mobilize aid for our brothers overseas.”
