A delegation representing the Board of Deputies of British Jews, headed by Israel Cohen, president, called on Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Lord Henderson today to discuss the revival of anti-Semitism and Nazi propaganda in Western Germany.

Lord Henderson told the delegation that, although “these matters are presently under the Jurisdiction of a democratically-elected German federal government and (Chancellor Conrad) Adenauer recently made a pronouncement of his government’s intentions”–the British Government would watch the situation closely and take action if that were warranted.
