A total of 20,500 Jewish immigrants entered Israel during the month of September, it was officially announced today.
A total of 2,500 immigrants arrived here yesterday. One thousand came on the steamer Negba from Marseilles, while 1,500 arrived on the Azmaut from Tripoli. Among the latter group were 300 children under the age of five.
