Dr. Cyril Garbett, Archbishop of York and Britain’s second-ranking clergyman, charged last night in a speech delivered to the Joint Synod of the Convocation of York that Jews and Irish Roman Catholics were using certain U.S. newspapers for bitter anti-British attacks.
