Canada’s relations with Israel will shortly come up for discussion in the Senate as a result of notice given today by Senator Arthur Roebuck, indicating that he will make a number of inquiries of the government on questions concerning Israel.
The Canadian Senator will, among other questions, ask whether Canada has appointed an Ambassador to Israel “and if not, why not?” He will also ask for the appointment of Canadian trade commissioners in Israel and will attempt to clarify the question of immigration from Israel to Canada.
