The program of the Ort in Israel, where more than 1,000 students are already being trained for various vocations, will be expended this year, it was announced today by George Backer, president of the American ORT Federation. The money to support this work in Israel will be supplied from funds raised by the World ORT Union outside of the United States, the announcement said.
