A Bucharest criminal court has sentenced Ion C. ##tibles, a former policeman in Czarnitza, to twelve years imprisonment for ill-treating and terrorizing a group of Jewish deportees detained in his village during the war.The court found Stiblsa guilty of extorting valuables and food from the Jews at the point of a gun. The sentence carries with it a loss of civil liberties and ##nfiscation of all his property.
