A group of members of the Turkish Parliament expelled a fellow deputy from a meeting of the Parliamentary Legal Commission after he had made a statement that the Turkish Government should “exterminate the Communists as the Germans did the Jews.”

When Solomon Adatto, Jewish deputy, protested the use of such language, the M.P. insulted him for being a Jew. The others condemned the anti-Semite and expelled him. Later they apologized to Mr. Adatto.
