Twenty different receptions and parties were held in various towns, settlements and among youth groups today in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Keren Hayesod.
A special meeting called by the Keren Hayesod here was attended by members of the Cabinet, Jewish Agency, Parliament and veteran Zionist leaders and workers. A report to the meeting declared that during its existence the institution has helped found 400 settlements, 1,250 educational institutions and has assisted the growth and expansion of industry and has been instrumental in bringing in some 400,000 immigrants.
