U.S. Solicitor General Perlman Draws High Iraise from President Truman and Mcgrath

Solicitor General Philip B. Perlman today drew high praise from President Truman and Attorney General J. Howard McGrath. Mr. McGrath announced that Mr. Perlman successfully represented the government before the Supreme Court, “making a record never before equalled by any Solicitor General in history.”

President Truman said: “Mr. Perlman’s work brings great credit to himself, the Justice Department, and the United States Government. I honor him for it.” Mr. Perlman is a member of the honorary advisory committee of the government division of the United Jewish Appeal.
