Prime Minister of Hesse Proposes Plan for Rehabilitating Jewish Cemeteries

The provincial Prime Minister of Hesse has proposed to the American state commissioner, Dr. James R. Newman, a plan for rehabilitating the Jewish cometeries in Hesse, it was learned here today.

In the same communication from Dr. Stock to Dr. Newman, it was proposed to teach schoolchildren tolerance and respect for graves. Commenting on Dr. Stock’s proposals, Dr. Nowman declared: “This action will bring to a speedy end these scandalous desecrations. It is, however, the individual responsibility of citizens to actively holp the government in this campaign.”
