A report on the talks which Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett had last week with members of the U.N. Conciliation Commission, who are seeking to bring about permanent peace between Israel and the Arab states, was given today by Mr. Sharett at a meeting of the Israel Cabinet. The meeting also discussed recent incidents in Jerusalem provoked by ultra-Orthodox groups in connection with observance of the Sabbath.

Over 100 Arab women and children were repatriated to Israel territory from the Transjordan-held “triangle” area this morning. They were immediately reunited with their families, who reside in the vicinity of Tulkarm.”
