The annual conference of the Australian Jewish Ex-Service Association has expressed serious concern of the large-scale immigration to this country of Germans steeped in Nazi ideas.

M. Ashkenazi, president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, addressing the parley, declared that the “German nation tolerated, organized and conducted the most brutal massacre known to the world.” He warned the government against welcoming people who “will become the greatest fifth column Australia has ever known.”
