The fourth congress of Italian Zionist groups held in Genoa concluded with the adoption of resolutions proclaiming the unity of Jerusalem with the state of Israel and calling for the strengthening of the World Zionist Congress.

The Congress also called for the establishment of a training center for youth desiring to migrate to Israel and expressed the hope that the 23rd World Zionist Congress would be held as soon as possible. The delegates warned that the hostile attitude of the Arab states toward Israel was a threat to world peace, and urged the Jewish state to use its influence on the international scene to promote world peace.
