The Israeli Tool Supply Corporation, organized by the ORT to supply machinery and tools to Israeli immigrants, workers, settlements and institutions, is proving itself successful, the ORT announced here today.
To date 1,510 machines have been delivered to 1,051 immigrants, 279 “old residents,” 89 kibbutzim and 30 educational institutions, including the Weizmann Institute of Science and Rehovoth. The machinery, purchased by the ORT in Switzerland, America, England, Italy and France, is sold to Israelis on the installment plan. The ORT reports that payments are made punctually and by all individuals and institutions.
