A new commercial agreement between Uruguay and Israel was signed yesterday in Montevideo by Uruguayan Foreign Minister Dominguez Campora and Israel Minister Yaacov Tsur. The agreement provides that Urugay is to export 20,000 ton of meat to Israel during a period of three years while Israel is to export to Uruguay merchandise valued at 20 per cent of the cost of the meat. The Government of Uruguay is to grant Israel $2,000,000 credit for a period of two years at three per cent interest to cover the transaction.
