Acute Shortage of Jewish Ministers in British Empire Reported by Chief Rabbi

There is an acute shortage of Jewish ministers both in Britain and overseas, Dr. Israel Brodie, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire, told a meeting of principals of Yeshivoth here today. He said the shortage was especially acute of ministers who could also serve as readers and teachers.
