A motion expressing non-confidence in the Israel Government “because of their obligations towards the United States” was introduced in the Israel Parliament today by the pro-Communist Mapam party. The motion may be taken up for discussion tomorrow. The Mapam objects to Israel’s request for American military aid.

Twelve officers of the U.S. Air Force, who are participating in a seminary in Deirut, arrived here this morning for a two-day visit to Israel. This visit was ordered as a result of articles published in the Israeli press stating that it is impossible to study Middle Eastern questions without visiting Israel.
