Goods Under German-israel Pact Will Reach Tel Aviv in February

The belief that the West German Bundestag would ratify the Israel-German reparations agreement in January and that the first goods under the agreement will reach Israel in February was expressed here by Dr. F. Shinnar, who just returned from West Germany where he made arrangements for the setting up of the Israel Purchasing Mission there.

(The West German Government is not too perturbed over the Arab League threats of an economic boycott if the Israel reparations agreement is honored because it hopes that the “Arab countries will hardly be so blind to their own interests as to sever relations with a customer who already buys from them twice as much as she sells, “the London Times said today.)
