The Histadrut executive last night decided to finalize the partition of Ein Harod, the collective settlement which is split along Mapai-Mapam lines and in which several clashes have occurred between Mapai and Mapam members.
The executive decided to divide the fields, homes and moveable property of the kibbutz on the basis of the size of each faction. The Mapai adherents compose 55 percent of the settlement’s population, and the Mapam members make up the remainder. The Histadrut has been studying the problem for the past nine months.
