David Hacohen, director of Solel Boneh, the construction cooperative and a Mapai member of the Knesset, has been named Israel’s first Minister to Burma. the Foreign Ministry announced last night. Mr. Hacohen will be Israel’s first diplomatic envoy to any member of the Asian-Arab bloc.
