Three men arrested yesterday in connection with an alleged plot to dynamite freighters in Haifa port carrying reparations goods from Germany were arraigned in magistrate’s court here today and remanded for 15 days.

Herut, newspaper organ of the right-wing Herut Party, which yesterday condemned the alleged bomb plot, in an editorial today defended Commander Shamir of the Betar, right-wing youth organization, who is charged with complicity in the plot, and declared that “it is an honor for a young Hebrew to be arrested in the fight against the dirty goods of reparations.”
