The murder of 6,000,000 Jews in Europe during World War II demands reparations to the Jewish people in the form of “pro-Israel policies” by the European powers, Father Riquet of the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Paris told a public meeting here today.

Speaking at a meeting sponsored by the Belgian Friends of the Hebrew University. Father Riquet, who recently returned from a tour of Israel, gave his audience a detailed account of his favorable impressions of the Jewish State, describing the country’s industrial and agricultural development and dwelling at length on the communal aspects of kibbutz life. The audience included members of the Belgian Government, Parliament and of the diplomatic corps.
