U.S. Army Assistant Chief of Staff Gen. Trudeau today called upon Gen. Moshe Dayan, Israel Chief of Staff, and later visited a border settlement, Gen. Trudeau limited his visit to Israel to 24 hours.
An announcement concerning his arrival in this country said that he came from Damascus on a routine visit to the American military attache in Tel Aviv. Top Israeli military leaders, including Gen. Dayan. attended a reception given by the American embassy in honor of Gen. Trudeau.
